I met Christa two years ago - one of my dear friends is her best friend - and last year at a party she started telling me about having met this young man named Valentino. I remember her face when she told me how she enjoyed talking to him and that she missed him when they were apart, there was already a tenderness growing in her heart for him. It overjoyed my heart to hear of how the time had come for both of them to walk into the season of engagement when I saw that ever famous photo on social media announcing their news. : )

With family and friends surrounding them on their wedding day they said yes to each other in covenant in the presence of the the One their souls love - Jesus. Valentino's face told of his heart for Christa as he watched her walk down the aisle...I won't forget that picture of his love showing on his face for his bride.

This beautiful family goes to my church, we met one Sunday and talked about photographs then lots of life unfolded and it was put on hold for awhile. So, one day, we talked again, and a day was planned for family pics for Christmastime. Their baby boy...what a cutie. In his shirt and khakis, he looked so handsome. Those eyes! His mommy and daddy were so sweet and told me that it was the first time they had posed for pictures as a family since their wedding. I loved that my camera got to capture a part of the their family story...I love stories and I love making new friends...loved our time together, J family!
